VEOP News and Events The 2008 VEOP conference will be held on Wednesday, October 29th at the Capital Plaza Hotel in Montpelier. To register for the conference, review the workshops and then print, complete and send in the registration form. Please note: there has been a change in the morning workshop offerings and the workshop list has been update. Click on conference agenda to view the schedule for day. We look forward to seeing you! This year's conference theme is: Can you hear us now? Engaging TRiO and GEAR UP voices to get our message out. The keynote speaker is Dr. Mary Childers, author of Welfare Brat: A Memoir.

2007 NEOA Conference VEOP members played an active role in organizing the 2007 NEOA conference that was held at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington Vermont March 24th -- 27th. Casey Johnson Honored as New England TRiO Achiever Lyndon State College Upward Bound student and University of Vermont graduate Casey Johnson was recently named the 2006 New England TRiO Achiever at the New England Educational Opportunities Association’s annual conference in Burlington. This award is given each year to the New England TRiO Alum that most exemplifies a commitment to their education.
